Throughout the program, apprentices learn various skills to become a well-rounded piercer including: piercing techniques, sterilization, bedside manner, and workplace safety practices. All apprentices are trained and certified by the Red Cross (First Aid/CPR/AED). They are also required to pass a Bloodborne Pathogens course.
